General Tonic.. Appetite Stimulant

Indication

  • Vitagrow® is specially formulated for those children,adolescents and adults, who have nutritional deficiency associated with eating disorders may lead to serious consequences in advancing life.

Composition

Each 5ml of  Vitagrow® solution contains:

  • Cyproheptadine hydrochloride       2 mg.
  • Vitamin  B1                                    1 mg.
  • Vitamin  B2                                    0.5 mg.
  • Vitamin  B6                                    0.5 mg.
  • Vitamin  B12                                  1mcg. 
  • Nicotinamide                                 10 mg.

Dosage

1) Children:

* (2 - 6 years):

  •  1 teaspoonful (5 ml) 2 times a day.

*  (7 - 14 years):

  •  2 teaspoonfuls (10 ml) 2 times a day.

2) Adolescents & Adults:

  •  2 teaspoonful (10 ml) 3 times a day. 

- Or as directed by the physician.

  • Vitagrow® contains Cyproheptadine, which causes increase the appetite and is proven to be of profound use in conditions of eating disorders. 
  • Vitagrow® solution helps in increasing weight Increase the appetite alone may not be always useful. Therefore Vitagrow® solution is fortified with  benefits of B-Vitamins, which is known to help in  metabolism of ingested foods and release energy.

:Vitagro is contraindicated in

  • patient have Hypersensivity to the (APIS)
  • Newborn or premature infants
  • breast-feeding mothers
  • who suffer from angle-closure glaucoma
  • who suffer from peptic ulcer
  • who suffer from symptomatic prostatic hypertrophy
  • who suffer from bladder neck obstruction
  • who suffer from pyloroduodenal obstruction.
  • Vitagrow® should not be administered simultaneously with other medicines which are Central Nervous System depressors.
  • Vitagrow® is not used during pregnancy and lactation.
     
  • In adults drowsiness can occur, for which reason cautions is recommended in driving or in performing tasks requiring alertness.

Over-dosage:-

  • At therapeutic doses, there is no risk of intoxication. In the event of a massive accidental ingestion, the patient should be kept under strict observation and  symptomatic measures should be taken.
  • If you notice any side effects not mentioned in this leaflet, please inform your doctor or pharmacist.
