Indication
- IVYPAN®plus Solution is used to improve symptoms of chronic-inflammatory bronchial diseases, acute inflammations of the respiratory tract accompanied by coughing.
- IVYPAN®plus solution is used to treat catarrhal diseases of the respiratory tract, by its secretolytic, broncho-spasmolytic and cough relieving effects.
Composition
Each 5 ml of IVYPAN®plus Solution contains:
- Ivy leaf extract 22.5 mg
- Thyme leaf extract 300 mg
Dosage
Always take IVYPAN®plus Syrup exactly as your doctor has told you.You should check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure:
¤ The usual dose for children older than 6 years, teenagers and adults is:
- 5 ml up to 4 times a day.
- Maximum daily dosage: 20 ml.
¤ The usual dose for children between 2 and 6 years is:
- 2.5 ml 4 time s a day.
- Maximum daily dosage: up to 10 ml.
¤ The administration and the dosage to children, aged less than 2 years, is strictly bound to the decision of your physician or pharmacist.
- IVYPAN®plus solution is a herbal medicine which contains ivy leaf extract and thyme extract as active substances. Ivy leaf extract contains hederacoside C 3.75 mg /5ml.Owing to this herbal extract, Ivy leaf extract acts as expectorant and helps release and elimination of adhered mucus.
- Thyme extract acts as an expectorant, bronchial spasmolytic and has antiseptic properties.
- IVYPAN®plus solution may occasionally appear slightly cloudy or taste slightly different.This does not have any effect, however, on the quality of the product.

IVYPAN®plus solution is contrainticated in:
- Hypersensitivity to the active substance or any ingredients in this product.
- Interactions with any other medicinal products have not been reported.
- Due to the lack of sufficient scientific investigations and data, the administration during pregnancy and breast-feeding is strictly bound to the decision of your physician or pharmacist. It is mandatory to ask these professionals before administration.
- Always ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.
- Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. These side effects may be very rare as allergic reactions such as shortness of breath, swelling, redness of skin, feeling of itching, gastrointestinal problems such as nausea, and vomiting.

- The simultaneous application of antitussives such as codeine or dextromethorphan is allowed only after medical instruction
- If you suffer from gastritis or stomach ulcer. Please inform your doctor.
- When dyspnoea, fever or purulent expectoration
occurs, a doctor has to be consulted.
